Installation Guide

Step-by-step guidance for safe and professional installation of Fista kitchen appliances.

Before You Begin

<p>Confirm your chimney size matches the hob width, check wall strength for mounting, and ensure a power point is available within reach of the chimney cable. Read the model-specific manual before drilling.</p>

Tools Required

<p>Drill with masonry bits, spirit level, screwdriver set, measuring tape, pencil, safety goggles, and duct clamps. Gas hobs additionally need a licensed gas fitter for connection.</p>

Chimney Installation

<p>Mark mounting points 65–75 cm above the hob (model dependent). Fix the wall bracket, hang the chimney, connect ducting to an exterior vent, and secure the decorative chimney cover.</p>

Hob Installation

<p>Cut the countertop to the template size, place the hob with sealing tape, connect gas or electrical supply via a licensed technician, and test each burner or zone.</p>

Electrical & Gas Safety

<p>Use dedicated sockets for chimneys and induction. Gas connections must include a shut-off valve and leak test with soapy water. Never DIY gas lines.</p>

Ducting & Ventilation

<p>Keep duct runs as short and straight as possible. Avoid more than two 90° bends. Use the duct diameter recommended in your manual for optimal suction.</p>

Testing After Install

<p>Power on, run each speed, test lights and auto-clean (if equipped), and check for unusual vibration or duct leaks.</p>

Maintenance Tips

<p>Empty the oil cup weekly on auto-clean models. Wash baffle filters every 2–4 weeks. Wipe exterior glass with a soft cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners.</p>

Troubleshooting

<p>Low suction often means clogged filters or blocked ducting. Unusual noise can indicate loose mounts. Contact 1800-889-6180 if the motor does not start.</p>
